Every settlement on the island, has its own patron saint whose feast is celebrated with an annual festival filled with a repertoire of music and dancing. Some of the main festivals are the following:
January 17th - San Antonio Fiesta Patronal
February Carnaval - street parties as crazy as anything in Brazil
March 12th - Santa Eulalia Fiesta Patronal
Easter - Semana Santa processions in Ibiza City and throughout the island
June 24th Fuegos de San Juan - fantastic fireworks display over Ibiza City
July 16th La Virgen del Carmen - procession for the Patron Saint of sailors
August 5th - Fiesta of Nuestra Senora de las Nieves, patron of Ibiza and Formentera
August - Folklore festival in Ibiza Town at the end of August.
