Formentera Island
Spending a day in this smaller and much quieter sister island of Ibiza is most ideal. To get there, you can go from Ibiza Town in regular ferries or hydrofoils, to the abundance of beautiful beaches and some nice cafés and restaurants once you ve got there.
D Alt Vila
The ancient walled town of D Alt Vila is a National Monument and is one of Ibiza s main historical attractions. It is an exceptional example of Renaissance military architecture that has winding, cobbled streets which command spectacular views out over the marina.

Poblado de Bal
This has five historic houses in this tiny village that feature traditional architecture and defense towers. Highly regarded throughout the island, these houses can be found in the San Lorenzo area.

Puig d'en Missa
Located on top of a hill, the Puig d'en Missa is a 16 th century defense post with sweeping views over the surrounding area. Located in Santa Eul , it has walls with an attached watchtower and is circular in shape.

Ses Fontanelles Cave
Situated above Cap Nunó , in the municipality of Sant Antoni , this features remains of ancient rock paintings.

Puig des Molins Nekropolis
Encompassing an area of 50,000 square meters, it has 3,000 remarkable Punic tombs in underground vaults. It was declared a Historical-Artistic Site in 1931 and is one of the biggest and best preserved Phoenician-Punic necropolises in the world.

Statue of Isidoro Macabich
A popular symbol that serves as a backdrop for tourists photographs, this statue was raised in honor of the Ibizan historian.

Rural Settlement Ses Paises de Cala d'Hort
Its residential and agricultural buildings make up these ruins of an old Punic rural settlement together with a Punic and Byzantine necropolises.

Cova d'es Culleram
Located in the San Vicente area of Ibiza , this sanctuary-cave is dedicated to the goddess Tanoit was discovered in 1907.

Sa Caleta Phoenician Settlement
This recently discovered settlement is the only example of a Phoenician village in the Mediterranean area that led their daily lives some seven and eight centuries before Christ.

Es Vedrá Rock
Once home to a hermit, this is home to the beautiful and natural phenomenon known as the Es Vedrá Rock . Standing close to 400 meters above sea level, the rock takes on an almost magical appearance at sunset.

Pou Des Rafal
You can reach this well by taking a turning to the left from along the Sant Josep to Sant Antoni Road . The wells have a special symbolism in the culture of this Island, as they were meeting places for the young who worked in the fields, and were popular as a place of courtship.

Cueva Can Marca
These caves were once occupied by pirates and treasure hoarders, but have now been restored and are full of beautiful stalagtites and stalagmites of brilliant colors. Located at San Miguel beach , this is easy to get to if you just follow the road around the right-hand side of the Puerto de San Miguel , up to the top of the cliffs.
